Expressão "Act of God"

Estudando o livro do Kerzner oitava edição para a prova do PMI achei a expressão "Act of God". Assustado, pensando que o PMI também fosse uma casa fundamentalista do pessoal do Bush, resolvi verificar no http://www.dictionary.com se isso era um expressão. Ufa! É uma expressão antiga para identificar desastres da natureza.

Eu ainda acredito no PMI.

An unforeseen and uncontrollable natural event, such as a hurricane, fire, or flood.
